The flavors on the palate are juicy, lush red plum, cranberry, citrus zest, and savory herbs linger on the finish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Garzon Single Vineyard Albarino \u201920\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Uruguay\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 $34<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Medium-bodied white wine with dense texture, rich, elegant aromas, and succulent flavors of pineapple, lemon zest, chamomile, sea salt, stone fruits, and a bright, tangy acidity, pleasing creamy texture, and deep flavors!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Economics of the Heart: We&#8217;re All &#8216;Rolling Stones&#8217; Now<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img data-opt-id=1015704092  fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15024\" src=\"https:\/\/mlpxrtka7dnn.i.optimole.com\/w:auto\/h:auto\/q:mauto\/ig:avif\/https:\/\/artisanwineclub.com\/index\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/dylan1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"166\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mlpxrtka7dnn.i.optimole.com\/w:280\/h:166\/q:mauto\/ig:avif\/https:\/\/artisanwineclub.com\/index\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/dylan1.jpg 280w, https:\/\/mlpxrtka7dnn.i.optimole.com\/w:150\/h:89\/q:mauto\/ig:avif\/https:\/\/artisanwineclub.com\/index\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/dylan1.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 280px) 100vw, 280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For no particular reason, while musing about our current grifty\/grafty federal government, some lyrics from Dylan&#8217;s <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Like_a_Rolling_Stone\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">&#8220;Like a Rolling Stone&#8221;<\/span><\/a> came to mind. Way back in that summer of &#8217;65, our group of USNA classmates rented a cottage on Balboa Island near Newport Beach, where we enjoyed a pleasant week of sunning, body surfing, and partying. Because the song was both a full six minutes long <em>and<\/em> a huge hit, it seemed to be on air <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> so much of the time<\/span><\/em> that we pretty much knew most of the words by heart&#8230;but didn&#8217;t think a lot about what it might <em>mean.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Wikipedia article linked above discusses in some detail various interpretations of the complex, nagging lyrics of the song, supposedly addressed to a young woman who <em>has it all<\/em> and <em>s<\/em>tep by step <em>loses it all.<\/em> So there is something here about immaturity or hubris or creating negative karma on her part <em>(and a mocking lack of sympathy from the singer!)\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">But the song also gives a nod to the freedom of her reaching a state of &#8220;got nothing to lose, invisible now, you got no (more) secrets to conceal&#8230;&#8221;<em> (not a lot of consolation!)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">So there is <em>something<\/em> about the song that speaks of the <em>upside down-ness\u00a0<\/em>of our <em>current<\/em> Federal<em> &#8220;Government.&#8221;<\/em> Everywhere we look in this <em>&#8220;Administration&#8221;<\/em> we see lying, cheating, lashing out, inflicting pain, stealing, and sadistic cruelty against the many by a comparative handful of mean-spirited, angry, lying, and sadistic sociopaths who genuinely seem to take <em>satisfaction and pleasure from making others suffer.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">These goals have been clear since the publication of Project 2025 way back in February of 2024 by the Heritage Foundation. The resulting 2025 <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Second_cabinet_of_Donald_Trump\">Cabinet selections<\/a> were not concerned with the intelligence or experience of the candidates as long as they were loyal, angry, loyal, selfish, reliably cruel. And did we mention <em>loyal..?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Project 2025 requires only a will to do whatever it takes to crush and loot our 250-yr-old Constitutional democracy completely and replace it with an autocratic government completely in service to a small cadre of angry, white, extraordinarily wealthy, selfish, and cruel men. Their thirst for unbounded authority and hurting as many people as possible, as much as possible, for as long as possible, is insatiable. Take, for example, the abject cruelty of Maga&#8217;s Ice Police, or what Stephan Miller thinks of as &#8220;the taking that keeps on giving.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0Digging elsewhere in old song lyrics, we find a similar conflict of values in Leonard Cohen&#8217;s* <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lyricsfreak.com\/l\/leonard+cohen\/bird+on+the+wire_20082816.html\">&#8220;Bird on a Wire:&#8221;<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><span class=\"lf-line js-share-line\">&#8221; a beggar leaning on his wooden crutch,<\/span><\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><span class=\"lf-line js-share-line\">said to me, &#8220;You should not ask for so much&#8230;&#8221;<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><span class=\"lf-line js-share-line\">And a pretty woman leaning in her darkened door<\/span><\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><span class=\"lf-line js-share-line\">cried out to me, &#8220;Hey&#8230;why not ask for More?&#8221;<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Every day more and more Americans are rebelling against the cruelty, the lying, the stealing, and working together to take back our Constitution, our equality, our protections, and our way of life.
