And it is amazing to find that you can search for images of any topic your imagination can invent, and Google will come up with a whole page of photos for your consideration. Tonight I wanted a post-Thanksgiving image, and I found lots, but they all seemed a bit overstated. <em>(For example, see <a href=\"https:\/\/encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com\/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRnkhCuAWmbR7fHZ9d8eWf8_RrY_s5UjbVkhiwfT-G1fcE5eCzY\">this<\/a>, or <a href=\"http:\/\/cdn-www.i-am-bored.com\/media\/abat.png\">this. <\/a>) <\/em> But I also found this one <em>(left), <\/em>which seemed a nice low-key counterpoint to the increasingly disturbing Black Friday Christmas Shopping Launch. It also provides a nice segue into letting you know <em><strong>we will NOT BE OPEN FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28!<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>We <span style=\"color: maroon;\">WILL<\/span> be open as usual on Saturday, November 29<\/strong> <\/em>during our regular hours, 2-6pm for your small business shopping pleasure and convenience. In addition, of course, as usual we invite you to call us any time you encounter one of those nasty <em>wine emergencies-<\/em>&#8211; if we are around we will do our best to help you through it!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span><span style=\"color: maroon;\">Bubbles Galore<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mlpxrtka7dnn.i.optimole.com\/w:auto\/h:auto\/q:mauto\/ig:avif\/http:\/\/artisanwineclub.com\/index\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/deutz.jpg\"><img data-opt-id=1456132232  fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: left; margin-right: 10px;\" alt=\"deutz\" src=\"https:\/\/mlpxrtka7dnn.i.optimole.com\/w:102\/h:150\/q:mauto\/ig:avif\/http:\/\/artisanwineclub.com\/index\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/deutz.jpg\" width=\"102\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>We had something of a blowout pre-holiday tasting last weekend, pouring <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artisanwineclub.com\/2013\/11\/21\/lummi-island-wine-tasting-november-23-13-pre-thanksgiving\/\">eight wines<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, including five sparklers: a <em>prosecco<\/em>, a <em>cava<\/em>, an Oregon sparkler, and two French <em>champagnes<\/em>. Maybe due to the time of year it was an unusually quiet weekend, and the few of us on hand at the end of the day on Saturday joined forces to finish a few remaining open bottles. As I recall, that worked out fairly well for those present, no complaints! It turns out there is no \u201cDick Taylor\u201d, but there are two guys named Adam Dick &amp; Dustin Taylor, who have also made music and wooden boats, and who now make some really great chocolate bars. Delicious, concentrated, intense, and beautifully packaged, these single-source confections are something special. At $7 per bar, they are particularly appropriate for gifts and special occasions. Or, as with nice wines, when you have one it <em>makes<\/em> it a special occasion!
