Still looking for more tree blossoms and lots more sunshine, but hey&#8230;at midday the warmth is glorious!<\/p>\n<p>We had a nice time away in our little trailer, very enjoyable despite lots of <em>El Nino<\/em>-driven rain in Oregon and California. It&#8217;s good to be home, and looking forward to seeing all of you soon!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: maroon;\">This Week\u2019s Breads <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/mlpxrtka7dnn.i.optimole.com\/w:auto\/h:auto\/q:mauto\/ig:avif\/http:\/\/artisanwineclub.com\/index\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/20141024-122220.jpg\"><img data-opt-id=986416002  fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: left; margin-right: 10px;\" src=\"https:\/\/mlpxrtka7dnn.i.optimole.com\/w:auto\/h:auto\/q:mauto\/ig:avif\/http:\/\/artisanwineclub.com\/index\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/20141024-122220.jpg\" alt=\"20141024-122220.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"211\" \/><\/a><\/em>We understand Bread Fridays have continued in our absence, and look forward to bringing wine back to the tradition this week.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Pain au Levain &#8211;<\/strong><\/em> Sourdough starter with fresh milled whole wheat and rye flours. Wheat germ is added as well for more flavor and a little malt powder for sweetness to balance the whole grains. A great all around bread<em> &#8211; $5\/loaf.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Semolina w\/ Fennel Seed &amp; Golden Raisins<\/strong> &#8211;<\/em> Half bread flour and half semolina flour. A little butter softens the crumb and fennel seed and golden raisins punch up the flavor. &#8211;<em> $5\/loaf.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>And, on the sweet side:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Pan di Cioccolate &#8211;<\/strong> <\/em>A delightful chocolate bread. Made with levain (sourdough), honey, vanilla, espresso and chunks of chocolate make this a tasty treat.
