We got home today (Friday) just as Janice was arriving to open the wine shop for Friday Bread pickup at 4pm.<\/p>\n<p>This post is to let you all know that the wine shop WILL be Open Saturday June 1 from 2-6 as usual. This week&#8217;s wines (see below) drew lots of positive comments tonight&#8230;we hope you will all find time to drop by and try them on Saturday!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">This week&#8217;s wine tasting <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>La Torretta Chardonnay \u201817 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Italy \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0$11<\/strong><br \/>\nFresh, crisp and bright on the palate with bracing notes of minerality; nose of golden apples and hint of honey. Harmonious and well balanced.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Bieler Ros\u00e9 \u201917 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0France \u00a0 \u00a0 $17 <\/strong><br \/>\nGrenache-Syrah blend; soft and bright, with plenty of red-berry and currant flavors. Its fruitiness and balanced acidity make for an immediately attractive, easy wine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La Torretta Pinot Noir \u201816 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Italy \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0$12<\/strong><br \/>\nRuby red color. Medium bodied. Complex aromas and flavors of violets, strawberries, raspberries and vanilla.
